Roswick Ltd is a family run business with over 60 years’ combined experience in the Civil Engineering and Groundworks industry. Karol O’Connor, Managing Director, started the business in 2011 and since then it has experienced substantial growth leading to the expansion of services. Roswick is proud to have become one of the most reputable contractors in the North West of England.
At Roswick we continually strive to innovate and improve our offering across all disciplines. We are dedicated to the provision of appropriate training for all staff and we encourage staff to develop their skill set on a daily basis.
Complying with stringent health and safety procedures is a key priority for all Roswick staff. Our operatives are all CSCS Trained and hold relevant qualifications in accordance with the position they hold e.g. PTS Trained, NEBOSH, First Aid Confined space, SSSTS, SMSTS, NRSWA and SWQR.

Karol O’Connor – Managing Director
Karol is well respected in the construction industry and holds over 15 years’ experience in managing Major Infrastructure, Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects.
Steph O’Connor – Commercial & Financial Director
Steph has been with Roswick since it was established in 2011. As Co-Founder and joint shareholder Steph’s vision and drive has helped to grow the family business to deliver unrivalled service and maintain exemplary client relationships.
Colin McGee – Contracts Manager
Colin plays a vital role within Roswick by managing specialist projects and delivering prestigious results.
Laura Dowd – Office Manager
Laura joined Roswick back in 2014 with a wealth of experience in Project Management. She has over 20 years experience within the Construction Industry. Laura and her team support all departments within the business – including Commercial and Operations. She is also responsible for the management of all administration operations within the business.
Simon Regan – Commercial Manager
Simon is responsible for the tendering process through to the commercial management of live projects.
Thomas Bibby – Procurement Manager
Thomas is an experienced, driven and target orientated construction and civil engineering procurement manager with a demonstrable track record of procuring and negotiating plant and materials for national sites throughout the uk.
Patrick Pattern – Director
Patrick oversees the day to day operations of Roswick UK projects, with more than 10 years’ experience in managing Major Infrastructure, Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects he is highly respected in the construction industry.
Jamie Pritchard – Payroll Administrator
Jamie manages the payroll department and daily operations by processing employee compensation accurately and on-time.
He recently single-handedly explored, presented and implemented a clock-in machine system to eliminate the outdated timesheet process, a significant change to the business, to which resulted in overall time and cost saving.
Key responsibilities include ensuring tax and benefit compliance, maintaining payroll records and, answering employee questions about their pay.
Michael Croft – Plant & Aggregate Manager
Michael manages both plant and aggregate departments and oversees the day-to-day operations including the mechanics and drivers.
All requests and tasks are extremely reactive and challenging; he does an excellent job to ensure everything is acknowledged and executed in a timely manor, while maintaining the expected high standards of the business.
Although problem solving plays a huge part of his job role, it can be very admin heavy too. All documents including live hire reports, delivery notes, invoice queries, plant and vehicle maintenance schedules etc are kept up-to-date and continuously thoroughly checked.
